We reserve the right to change time, location and date of any fitcamp or personal training session without prior notice, however we will also endeavour to provide at least 24 hours notice.
Before you take part in any exercise, we will ask you to fill in a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR–Q) to ensure you are fit enough to do so. We will then periodically ask you to fill in another but it is your responsibility to inform us of any changes in health or circumstance. Busy Woman’s Fitness Project assumes no liability for persons who undertake physical activity with us.

Beginning a new workout can often be a daunting process, especially a bootcamp workout in a group setting. We reassure you that your time spent with Busy Woman’s Fitness Project will be a friendly, focused, and truly empowering experience.
The group setting adds to the overall motivation of the group, with all of our members pushing each other to progress, and ultimately become healthier women.
Please inform one of us immediately and we will advise you on the course of action you should take. We cannot be held responsible for illness or injury during any fitcamp and do not offer refunds under such circumstances. However, we will transfer your remaining sessions to the next available block if a Doctor or medical professional suggests you rest to improve your illness or injury.
Unless you have booked a Silver, Gold or Platinum package, you cannot swap fitcamp times and sessions cannot be carried over. Personal training sessions cannot be interchanged with fitcamp sessions and vice versa.
Once you purchase any Busy Woman’s Fitness Project boot camp or personal training package no refunds are available under any circumstance.
It’s natural to feel nervous about trying something new, even if you’re an experienced exerciser. But you honestly have nothing to be nervous about because we take the best care of our campers and all of the women who come to the camps are so friendly and help ‘newbies’ fit straight in. There is massive motivation at every camp and we work hard but have a good laugh whilst doing so. We’re all one big fitcamp family.
There’s no such thing as bad weather, we live in Manchester! We workout in the wind, rain and snow because there’s no workout like an outdoor workout. Exercising outdoors is actually better for you than working out inside anyway.
The fitcamps are held outdoors so you need to ensure your clothing is appropriate to the time of year.
You will need:
Sportswear – flexible clothing ideal for all conditions
A Bottle of Water
Sports Trainers (waterproof ideally)
Gloves (waterproof ideally)
Padded mat and Towel
Sports Bra – This is VERY important because there’s a lot of movement so you need to make sure there’s very little in the chest area!
Sorry but that’s not what our fitcamp is about. The fitness project is not a drop in exercise class, it’s 4 week block progressive fitcamp devised to help you become fitter, stronger, healthier and leaner and that can’t be achieved every once in a while. It takes commitment to truly create lasting change and progressing through each month ensures you get the results you want.
There’s no shouting at this fitcamp, actually that’s why we call it a fitcamp instead of a boot camp, because we don’t want to give you the wrong impression. There’s no shouting, just encouragement and motivation, and there’s always a friendly ear if you need additional support.
The Busy Woman’s Fitness Project is everything rolled into one. So whether you want to lose weight, gain strength, improve your health, your confidence or your endurance you can achieve all of this and more. Our 28 day progressive fitcamp includes nutritional plans (no points, no ‘diets’), personal trainer designed workouts, motivational emails, holiday workouts, regular recipes, ongoing support via email, text, calls, Facebook group and of course the invaluable support of like minded women.
We feel that surprises are special, which is why our workouts are a secret! Every workout week is unique and the exercises change all the time so your body is continually challenged in every way. This is the best way to become the fittest version of yourself and get amazing results. We mainly use bodyweight but there’s the odd equipment challenge thrown in for good measure.
The fitcamp workouts are changed every week and every month, and you never do the same workouts more than twice in one week. This means you’re always being challenged in different ways and where one camper may be able to do 5 burpees in 30 seconds, maybe you’ll be able to smash through 20!
Don’t worry, even if you’ve never exercised ever before, you workout to your own fitness level and ability so whatever you can manage to begin with is just fine. You’re an individual and the workouts are designed with that in mind. Over the 4 weeks the workouts progress to help your fitness levels progress too so the longer you stay with us, the fitter you will become. You will never be pushed beyond more than you can physically handle but you will go beyond your comfort zone to truly create positive change.
