FAQ 2018-02-07T15:10:48+00:00

We reserve the right to change our T’s & C’s at any given time and cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to your personal items left whilst training. We reserve the right to change time, location and date of any fitcamp or personal training session without prior notice, however we will also endeavour to provide at least 24 hours notice.

Before you take part in any exercise, we will ask you to fill in a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ) to ensure you are fit enough to do so. We will then periodically ask you to fill in another but it is your responsibility to inform us of any changes in health or circumstance. Busy Woman’s Fitness Project assumes no liability for persons who undertake physical activity with us.

If you have a question about the fitcamp, please get in touch and ask away.

Beginning a new workout can often be a daunting process, especially a bootcamp workout in a group setting. We reassure you that your time spent with Busy Woman’s Fitness Project will be a friendly, focused, and truly empowering experience.

The group setting adds to the overall motivation of the group, with all of our members pushing each other to progress, and ultimately become healthier women.

I’m going on holiday, can I get a discount? 2020-06-22T12:29:08+00:00

We do not offer discounts or add on to another package time taken off for holidays just the same as a gym does not. You will need to factor this in when deciding to join us.

What happens if I become ill or injured during the fitcamp? 2020-06-22T12:30:59+00:00

Please inform one of us immediately and we will advise you on the course of action you should take. We cannot be held responsible for illness or injury during any training session and do not offer refunds under such circumstances. However, we will offer an alternative where possible if a Doctor or medical professional suggests you rest to improve your illness or injury. If you become ill or injured outside of the fitcamp we will not pause your package.

Unless you have booked a Silver package, you cannot swap times and sessions cannot be carried over under any circumstance.

Can I get a refund? 2020-06-22T12:32:24+00:00

I’m a bit nervous about my first session, should I be? 2016-07-14T20:37:37+00:00

It’s natural to feel nervous about trying something new, even if you’re an experienced exerciser. But you honestly have nothing to be nervous about because we take the best care of our campers and all of the women who come to the camps are so friendly and help ‘newbies’ fit straight in. There is massive motivation at every camp and we work hard but have a good laugh whilst doing so. We’re all one big fitcamp family.

What do we do if the weather’s bad? 2016-07-14T20:37:06+00:00

There’s no such thing as bad weather, we live in Manchester! We workout in the wind, rain and snow because there’s no workout like an outdoor workout. Exercising outdoors is actually better for you than working out inside anyway.

What do I need to wear / bring? 2016-07-14T20:36:12+00:00

The fitcamps are held outdoors so you need to ensure your clothing is appropriate to the time of year.

You will need:

Sportswear – flexible clothing ideal for all conditions

‡A Bottle of Water

Sports Trainers (waterproof ideally)

‡Gloves (waterproof ideally)

‡Padded mat and Towel

Sports Bra – This is VERY important because there’s a lot of movement so you need to make sure there’s very little in the chest area!

Will there be shouting and military style fitness? 2020-05-14T11:56:24+00:00

There’s no shouting, just encouragement and motivation, and there’s always a friendly ear if you need additional support.

What sort of exercises do you do at the fitcamp? 2020-05-14T11:59:01+00:00

We feel that surprises are special, which is why our workouts are a secret! Every week is unique and the exercises change all the time so your body is continually developing.

I haven’t exercised in a long time will I be able to keep up? 2020-05-14T12:00:41+00:00

Don’t worry, even if you’ve never exercised ever before, you workout to your own fitness level and ability so whatever you can manage to begin with is just fine. You’re an individual and the workouts are designed with that in mind. You will never be pushed beyond more than you can physically handle.
